The results match the effort.
There’s no such thing as the easy or fast way to achieve your performance or aesthetics goals.
We have provided you all with the correct levels and amounts for eating however without following it with the correct foods and quantities, the results do not come. Surprised? Well you shouldn’t be.
You can be clean Monday to Friday, however if your Saturday and Sunday are completely off the rails or you’re out drinking alcohol on various occasions then you’re probably over doing the so called “cheat meal”.
Now this isn’t an attack, it’s to give you some understanding and perspective.
How strong is your will power? Or should I ask how much do you desire your goals?
You do not have to become a social mute to achieve these results. You do however have to show commitment to the cause. You’re not restricting food you are substituting it. You’re not giving up your favourite things, you’re just choosing foods to better nourish and fuel your body in order to get results.
Drinking alcohol is probably the worst cheat you can have. Alcohol stays in the system for up to 27 days effecting your body’s processors the whole time. For those who like a drink weekly, then I’m sorry to say but you’re only harming your bodies… Even with red wine. Don’t be stupid, EAT berries for anti-oxidants.
So how do you substitute for alcohol? Try soda/mineral water. Add some flavor with some green tea x50 or something of the low/no sugar, maybe some fresh fruit like lemon or lime. Kombucha or kefir are both taking to the shelves in plenty of health food stores around the world. They’re both delicious drinks filled with awesome bacteria to help the gut. Or to stop yourself from drinking and to have another ‘let down the hair’ moment, have some ice cream/chocolate/cheese and crackers instead.
STOP! Before you go crazy over these items. THIS IS ONE NIGHT A WEEK ONLY, and must still be in moderation!!!
The whole 80%-20% split thing is once you are happy with your results. Until you get there if you need to break, it should only be one night only. To put one more ‘rule’ as such down. Go for 4 weeks without any cheats and trust in the process! Remember why you’re doing this in the first place!
You can’t say it doesn’t work if you didn’t follow it 100%. Even if it’s not quite followed absolutely to a tee, we’re still seeing some massive improvements throughout all of you (our Chief Life members).
Get some guts and overcome the cravings. Get some will power, because you came to us to help yourself one way or another. Stay positive and know that you can. We are all here to help so use the community for support if you need it.
